Going beyond simply painting rooms, the client knew what she
wanted! Adding columns, new carpeting, a kitchen renovation,
adding stonework, re-upholstery and lighting - a long process but
definitely worth the wait!

A wonderful client in Washington DC wanted a transitional
design for her home. New paint and a few changes made
a huge impact!
|

This Master Bedroom makeover really came in phases to remove
the built in platform bed then to paint the room a lovely shade of
warm gray. We then changed out the ceiling fan with an aged
silverleaf chandelier and topped it off with a repurposed frame.
With new custom made bedding from Eastern Accents, prisca
mirrors, and personalized decorative touches, the transformation
is gorgeous!

What great fun this project was! Simply wonderful people to work
with, the homeowners wanted something funky and fun, and a
reminder of the Hotel Monaco. With a little creativity and lots of
color and bold patterns, their morning room became one of the
favorite places in their home.
For the family room, the artwork was the inspiration for the color
palette - adding just the right touch of warmth to this simple
design.

The power of Paint! Taking a cue from the gorgeous slate stone,
we painted this one wall a taupe with deep gray undertones and
took the taupe color up to the tray ceilings. Adding custom made
window treatments added the punch of color which was continued
through other areas of the home.
In the kitchen, we used coordinating embroidered silk to create
simple valances, and recovered the chairs in embroidered leather.

well as on the walls really
creates a beautiful
transition throughout
rooms and gives trim
work the extra pop it
deserves!

For Miss Alexa's room, the transformation is remarkable!
Alexa decided she no longer liked pink, so the changes
began! In addition to the custom paint job by Clara
Thompson, we built custom cornices, organized, and
brought in a new desk for schoolwork.

Copper and brown window treatments,
colorful accessories and custom florals were
all that was needed to transform this into a
beautiful room. An added element was the
quote we placed along the galley wall.

For the love of Blue! Not only did we paint the master
bedroom and bath in shades of blue, we also painted
frames white and added small details to make this
bedroom absolutely gorgeous! As a "Thank You" for all
the referrals and homes the owners have contracted with
us, we gave them a beautiful chandelier as a gift.

For newlyweds Jodi and Matt, their first home
was a blank canvas to create a more
contemporary style with a mixture of his and
her collection pieces gathered from their
travels.

The fun thing about working with so many different
collections is the outcome... The Crone family has so
many great antiques and unique piece to work with! A
collection of hunting items and pelt was transformed into
art - adding rustic charm to the family room.

For this young DC couple, the apartment has spectacular views of
DC's finest monuments, but the inside needed some help. With
some creative thought we worked some magic to create a gallery
feel for the small spaces.

This bathroom has a long history of changes - 200 years worth to
be exact! We gave the bath a great space lift with wide plank
beadboard, trim and cottage green to capture the farm house feel

The Westwood farmhouse was built in 1818
and it was our pleasure to help Leah and her
family bring a charming country feel to her
living room. We started with repairing the
plaster walls, painting the room a beautiful
color and repainting all the original trim and
fireplace. Leah selected a beautiful sofa set
and we picked out gorgeous bookcases from
Bramble Now. Kate then found two antique
tables and added those as well as other
found treasures into the mix. And as always,
custom creations were made for Leah and
her family to add personalized details to the

reflect the young, professional couple's style!
