For newlyweds Jodi and Matt, their first home
was a blank canvas to create a more
contemporary style with a mixture of his and
her collection pieces gathered from their
travels.

The fun thing about working with so many different collections is
the outcome... The Crone family has so many great antiques and
unique piece to work with! A collection of hunting items and pelt
was transformed into art - adding rustic charm to the family room.

For this home, a lot of changes were made - window treatments,
new furnishings, color and artwork made a huge difference!

A kitchen "space lift" was achieved first by
removing the corner counter cabinet to
create more counter space. Then we
ripped out the old tile top, replaced the
old sink with a deeper undermount sink,
installed granite , to include a larger slab
for the island, installed a new gas
cooktop and added cabinet pulls and
knobs. A simple, but elegant change for

For this young DC
couple, the apartment
has spectacular views
of DC's finest
monuments, but the
inside needed some
help. With some
creative thought we
worked some magic
to create a gallery feel
for the small spaces.

We kept with the theme, adding more storage with the console
table and a stylish storage trunk for the toys and played up the

This was an incredibly fun redesign! With all the fossils and
artifacts, we didn't have to "dig" too much to find great items to use

The Westwood farmhouse was built in 1818 and it was our pleasure to help Leah and her family bring a charming country feel to her living room. We
started with repairing the plaster walls, painting the room a beautiful color and repainting all the original trim and fireplace. Leah selected a beautiful
sofa set and we picked out gorgeous bookcases from Bramble Now. Kate then found two antique tables and added those as well as other found
treasures into the mix. And as always, custom creations were made for Leah and her family to add personalized details to the design. You can read

Dear Kate,
Just wanted to put in writing how wonderful we think you are. Bill and
I are overjoyed with our new half bath. You did the most amazing
decorating transformation we have ever seen in so short of time. Bill
could not believe the cost with all that you accomplished in making
our half bath the talk of our friends and family. They all were in awe.
You are the best at what you do to transform from plain and drab to

multi-functional, space saving approach, yet bring in elegant

her a dining area that also serves as extra seating and work space by
mixing the seating up and changing the table top. The one of a kind
bed is absolutely gorgeous and the designer's favorite!

chaise hidden in her office to redefine a great reading area!
